POLICE DEPARTMENT
The mission of the Village of Corfu Police Department is to protect
the rights of all persons within its jurisdiction to be free from criminal
attack, to be secure in their possessions, to live in peace and to serve
the people of the Village of Corfu by performing its law enforcement function
in an efficient, professional and community minded manner.
SERVICE AREA
The Village of Corfu is approximately 1 square mile and is the home
to about 795 residents. The Corfu Police Department is asked to assist
the New York State Police and the Genesee County Sheriff's Office on occasion.
The Corfu Police Department is a full service police agency that works
very closely with the Genesee County Sheriff's Office and the New York
State Police. All of our police officers are Bureau of Municipal Police
certified and trained. The police department works in alliance with local
businesses, associated groups and organizations to ensure the safety of
our community.
The village police officers are
Gene Nati, Simon Biegaszewicz, John Armitage, Richard Retzlaff, Jim Delacy, Michael Lute, Gary Miller, Pete Scanio, Mike Petritz and Mike Okal.

Office hours: Monday - Thursday, 8:00 am - 3:30 pm / Friday, 8:00 am - 12:00 pm. Court is at 5:00 pm.
The village justice is David O'Connor and the court clerk is
Pam Yasses.

Court times:
District Attorney night - first Wednesday of each month, starting at 6:00 pm
Vehicle and traffic night - third Wednesday of each month, starting at 6:00 pm
Credit cards (Visa or MasterCard only), cash, money orders or certified checks are the ONLY acceptable forms of payment.
